There are christmas shops in Asheville, charlotte, Dunn, Hendersonville, Highlands, Manteo, Nags head, and Southern Pines. There are no doubt others. Probably the best Christmas shop I have run into in North Carolina is that located on Roanoke Island in Manteo, NC. Great selection and decorated incredibly beautiful. The shop was begun in 1967 and hosts several thousand visitors each year. It's really a landmark place to visit in that area. I hope this helps.
